Pretty decent fishing over the past few days, seems like we are throwing back a few less haddock. Some bigger cod starting to show up, this should continue for a couple of weeks. Still can’t fish in the mud, but occasionally we will stop and try to snag a few on their way in. Doesn’t always work like we plan-the biggest so far about 25lbs.

You can catch too many, today was one of those days…I know because I had to clean most of them. Benny mistook his finger for a haddock and gashed it to the bone (it was very ugly). After cleaning all day there was still 7 totes and 2 coolers to clean at the dock. Kim Manning had 39 and she wasn’t close to high hook. Decent couple of days, no kill by any means, but steady fishing. The catch has been a mix of Cod, Haddock and Pollock. Still throwing back a bunch of sub-legal Haddock

Absolutely crushed the big Pollock on the Big Money Trip today. The bite did slow down in the middle part of the day (THANKFULLY) but most anglers filled their totes and coolers twice. Have to give ups to my main man Johnny Sanfilippo, he handled the deck and cut about 450 Pollock single handed. At age 68 he is still a machine.
